Here's Gordon Cox again--this time holding my gourd banjo. This is the banjo that I used to record the duet on "Fly Around My Pretty Little Miss" on Banjo Dreamin' Suwannee Nights. :) Posted by Picasa

Different banjo with Gordy Cox

Hello,
If you'd like to hear some very different clawhammer banjo--I recorded an experimental track for my son, Gordon Cox. If you go to his Myspace web site at:
www.myspace.com/gordoncox
Listen to his tune--"Self Control"
That is the one with the banjo track.
Please be advised that his site would be rated R or X if it was a movie--so don't go if you are easily offended or faint of heart.

Happy Birthday, Bob Cox

Sunday was Bob's birthday and here he is playing mainstage at the Will McLean festival. Poor guy--he doesn't even get a day off on his birthday.
He did get a new tie dye t-shirt to wear on stage, though. :)
He sure does a pretty lead on Tam Lin. :)
